Pro tip: My $400 laser level was a total waste for most jobs.
Bought a DeWalt DW089LG thinking it would speed up tile layouts. It's great for big open commercial floors, but for 90% of residential remodels in tight spaces, it's overkill. My old 4 foot level and a chalk line are faster. Anyone else find fancy tools just collect dust?

It's funny how many expensive hobbies end up as garage decor. Seems like half the people I know have a project they were super into for about three months.
