Did hardwood over LVP in my own basement and I'm second guessing it

I put in solid red oak over dricore in my 600 sq ft basement in Denver last fall, and while it looks great, I'm already seeing some cupping near the exterior wall. All the guys I know swore I should've done LVP down there - anyone else have hardwood hold up in a basement long term?

Did you test the moisture before laying it down?

Are you serious man, did you even put a pin meter in that slab before you started? I made the exact same mistake in my last house, laid down some nice 3/4 inch white oak in a bilevel basement in Ohio and by spring the edges looked like a damn roller coaster. I was told the same thing by everyone, that I was crazy, and they were right because that moisture coming through the concrete in April just wrecked it. I had to tear out half the floor and replace it with LVP anyway, so you basically just bought yourself a really expensive headache that looks good for a few months.
