Unpopular opinion: people are paying way too much for old Pyrex at the flea market
I was at the big swap meet in Bakersfield last weekend and saw a guy try to sell a basic 2-quart casserole dish for $85. He kept calling it 'vintage' and 'collectible'. I found the exact same pattern, the 'Butterprint', at a different stall for $12 just two rows over. It feels like some sellers are just slapping a high price on anything with color and hoping no one knows better. Do you haggle every time or just walk away from those crazy prices?

Wow, $85 for a basic 2-quart Butterprint? That's insane... I saw the same dish going for like $15 at the Rose Bowl flea market not too long ago. Some of these sellers are just trying to catch someone who doesn't know any better. I usually just walk away and laugh about it later, no point in arguing with someone who thinks their Pyrex is made of gold.

Bakersfield swap meet" reminds me of the wild west vibes there.

Nah, I get more of a dusty parking lot vibe. Feels like any other town to me, nothing really wild west about it.
