Stumbled on a 1920s glass insulator at a flea market for $3
Turns out those old glass things on telephone poles are collectible and some go for over $100. Found a blue Hemingray-42 at the Rose Bowl Flea and the guy just wanted it gone. Anyone else pick up random stuff that ends up being worth way more than you paid?

Nice find. I love when something old and forgotten turns out to be worth a good chunk of change.

I mean, @betty_white39, that's great and all, but you end up with a box of old glass cluttering up your garage for years before someone finally pays you $50 for it. Unless you're flipping it right away, it's just stuff you've got to dust and store.

Always thought that stuff was junk but now I see why people hunt for it.
