My wife said my bargain hunting is just hoarding with receipts
We were cleaning the garage and she pointed at my stack of vintage Pyrex bowls from the Springfield flea market. She said, 'You bought those for $20 because it was a deal, not because we needed them.' It hit me that I've been chasing the thrill of the find more than actually using the stuff. How do you decide what's a real treasure versus just cheap clutter?

Chasing the thrill of the find" sounds like a fun hobby, not a real problem.

Agree with @ericreed that the thrill fades fast, but the clutter stays forever.

Ever notice how that thrill is what keeps us buying stuff we don't need?
