Found a signed first edition for $3 but the debate is killing me

Last month at the Elkhorn flea market, I grabbed a beat up copy of 'The Martian Chronicles' for three bucks. When I got home, I found Ray Bradbury's signature inside. I mean, part of me wants to keep it because it's so cool, but my buddy says I should sell it to a collector who would really care for it. I'm stuck between holding onto a piece of history or making a big profit. What would you guys do with a find like this?

Sell it. Three bucks to a life changing amount of cash is a no brainer when you think about it. A collector will treat that book like a museum piece while you could use that money for something way more important right now.

Sell it. That money could change your life while the book just sits on a shelf.

How often do we trade a thing's real value for its price tag?
