Overheard a guy at the hardware store say he fixes cracked phone screens with UV glue and a $20 kit from the mall. Always thought that was a scam.

I mean, it's just a phone screen... if the crack isn't messing with the touch screen and the kit seals it up, who cares? It's not like you're doing brain surgery on the thing. People spend $300 for a new screen when a $20 fix gets it working fine. Seems like a win to me.
