Finally beat my afternoon slump with better snacks on site.

Eating nuts instead of chips kept my energy up for setting rails.

Absolutely, swapping out junk food makes a huge difference (I've been there). My old vending machine cookie habit would wipe me out by 3 PM. Now I keep those little cheese sticks or an apple in the mini fridge. The protein or natural sugar keeps my brain from totally checking out during the last few hours. It's a total game changer for getting through the paperwork pile.

Man, you're both right but timing matters too! I used to eat my apple at like 11 AM and still hit a wall. Moved it to 2:30, right before the slump, and it actually works.

Seriously, the HYDRATION part gets me every time! I can eat the perfect snack but if I'm just sipping coffee all day, I still crash hard. I chug a big glass of water WITH my almonds or cheese stick now. It makes the food work better somehow, like my body can actually USE the energy. That dry mouth and foggy feeling was always from being thirsty, not hungry. Game changer for real.
