Was talking to my friend's kid about their school uniform and it totally flipped my view on 'boring' clothes.

Read an article about how uniforms can actually reduce bullying based on clothes. It said when everyone looks the same, kids get picked on less for not having expensive brands. That changed my mind a bit. I used to think they just killed creativity. Now I see it might help some kids feel more equal at school. Takes the pressure off families who can't afford fancy outfits every day.

Remember my buddy's kid. Got picked on for wearing the same two shirts all the time. Family was tight on cash. School switched to uniforms the next year. Kid came home smiling, @verafoster. Said no one said anything about his clothes anymore. Just kids being kids.

Check the uniform policy before you buy anything.
