Caught a kid at the bus stop say his jacket was 'boring' because it didn't have any hidden pockets.

It made me realize we might overcomplicate designs for adults while missing simple, fun ideas that kids actually want. Anyone have other examples of kid-inspired features that could work in grown-up clothes?

Remember that hidden pockets are a security risk for kids, not just a fun feature. They can hide small objects they shouldn't have. The real lesson is making functional details that are actually useful for their age.

That's actually a clever way to teach kids about hiding and seeking in a safe space without them swallowing coins.

Oh come on, a security risk? That seems like a real stretch. Kids can hide stuff ANYWHERE, not just in a secret pocket. It's a fun design detail, not a parenting problem.
