Wait, 2017? That was the year they had to put down that one horse right after the race, wasn't it? I remember seeing the clip and it was just awful. The whole crowd went silent.

You mean the one that broke its leg on the final turn? That video still makes me sick. They talk about safety but then push these animals until they break. The whole sport has a problem it doesn't want to fix.
