Bought a $60 spiralizer and used it exactly once before it broke

Ngl I thought it would be a game changer for zucchini noodles but the plastic gears stripped after one bunch of squash. Anyone else have a kitchen gadget that turned out to be a total waste?

Old school veggie peeler trick" is literally all I use now too. That $60 junk broke after one use for me.

Actually used to think name brand kitchen tools were always better but this changed my mind hard. Got a fancy mandoline slicer that cost $70 and the blade guard broke after three uses. Now I just stick to hand spiralizers from the dollar store that somehow last forever. You ever try the old school veggie peeler trick for noodles instead?

My $40 spiralizer did the exact same thing after one sweet potato. Total junk, never again.
