Wasted $60 on a 'miracle' cleaning spray that was just vinegar with food coloring
I saw this infomercial at 2 AM about a spray that would dissolve every stain instantly and bought a 3-pack for $60 (embarrassing, I know). Turned out the active ingredient was just white vinegar and water with some blue dye added, which I could have mixed myself for pennies. Has anyone else fallen for those late-night cleaning gadgets that just repackage basic stuff?

Paid $30 for a "stain eraser" sponge that turned out to be just a slightly denser melamine foam block you can get at the dollar store. Felt like a real genius when the packaging wore off and I saw the generic brand underneath for a tenth of the price. At least your vinegar spray probably works fine, just overpaid for the fancy bottle and the 2 AM marketing hype.

Used to think I was immune to that kind of marketing, but you just proved I'm not.
