Used to scrub my shower with a brush for 20 minutes, now I spray daily with $1.50 vinegar mix

I was in my bathroom at 9pm last Tuesday scrubbing hard water spots off the glass door and just snapped. This guy at work told me to mix white vinegar and dish soap in a spray bottle and hit it every morning after my shower. Three weeks in and I barely need any elbow grease now. Anybody got a good trick for the shower head that won't make my eyes water?

Got the same tip from my mom and honestly I was so skeptical at first. Spent years using those harsh store bought cleaners thinking vinegar was just for salad dressing. Tried it on my shower head by filling a baggie with the mix and rubber banding it on overnight. No more scrubbing little nozzles with a toothbrush. Didnt make my eyes water either just smells like pickles for a bit.

Wait, you actually rubber band a baggie full of vinegar to your shower head and leave it overnight? @butler.abby that sounds wild but I guess if it works it works.
