Stop buying those 'as seen on TV' kitchen gadgets right now.
I dropped $30 on a veggie chopper that promised to dice an onion in five seconds. It took me longer to clean the stupid thing than it would have to just use a knife, and the plastic blade snapped on a carrot. What's a kitchen tool you bought that actually held up?

Ugh, YES. I bought one of those spiralizer things. It turned ONE zucchini into a weird noodle pile and then just... broke. My regular box grater has never let me down.

My own veggie chopper is in a landfill somewhere, probably still in one piece out of spite.

Used to think those things were just fine for simple jobs. That veggie chopper disaster changed my mind for good. Watched the blade pop off and shoot across the counter. Total waste of money. Now the only gadget that gets used is my old cast iron skillet. That thing will outlive me.
