Rant: I wasted $60 on that fancy reusable produce bag set
Saw all these influencers raving about those mesh produce bags at the grocery store. Thought they'd save me money and plastic. After 3 trips they were all stained and the drawstrings broke on half of them. Now I'm back to using the thin plastic bags at the store and just reusing them 3 or 4 times before tossing. Anyone else fall for a eco-friendly product that just didn't hold up?

my buddy spent like $40 on those silicone stretch lids and they just slide off everything so now they're in a drawer somewhere

Are you sure your buddy actually got the right size though? I grabbed a set that had like 6 different sizes and the ones that fit tight never budge on my square bowls. Maybe his drawer is just full of the wrong sizes he didn't measure for @river_hall44. The trick is you gotta pull the lid past the rim just a hair so it snaps closed, not just lay it on top.

Did you try measuring the actual rim of your bowls before you bought the lids? You might have a standard size set but your bowls could be slightly bigger or smaller than what the lids are made for. It's frustrating when something that should work just slides off, I've been there with a few kitchen gadgets that ended up in the back of a drawer. Sometimes the cheap ones work better than the expensive ones if you get the right fit.
