Question about a free library app that saved my phone bill

I was paying $12 a month for an audiobook service until my friend in Denver mentioned the Libby app just uses your library card. I tried it last Tuesday and got three books for my commute with zero wait. What's your favorite free app that replaced a subscription you had?

Switched from Spotify to the free version of Pandora for my long drives. Honestly, the stations are good enough and I don't miss picking every single song. Saved me that ten bucks a month for basically the same background noise.

Wait, does the free Pandora still have those audio ads every few songs? I remember trying it a while back and the ads were so loud compared to the music, it kept jolting me out of my drive zone. If they've toned that down, it's a solid move to save the cash. I get the appeal of just setting a station and forgetting it, especially when you're just trying to fill the silence. Sometimes picking songs feels like one more chore.

My Denver library waitlist for Libby is over a month long sometimes.
