I spent 45 minutes trying to get the last bit of lotion out of the pump bottle before my partner just cut it open.
There was still enough left inside for three more full uses, which made me wonder how much product and money we waste by not doing this simple thing.

Honestly though, that sounds like way more trouble than it's worth. You're gonna have this messy, cut open bottle sitting around, and for what, a tiny bit of lotion? It's not like it's liquid gold. The time and mess just don't add up to the few cents you save. Companies design those bottles to be used and thrown away, not turned into a weird science project on your counter. I'd rather just buy a new one and keep things neat.

Wait, three more FULL uses? That's insane! I always figured there was a little bit left, but that's like a whole other product sample in there. No wonder those bottles feel empty way before they actually are. I'm definitely grabbing the scissors next time instead of just tossing it.

Ever notice how much gets stuck in the corners of those tubes? I started cutting open all my toothpaste and lotion bottles, it's kind of shocking what's left inside.
