Three years ago at my old spa in Austin, we had a client with severe rosacea who insisted on a full chemical peel. The lead esthetician refused, saying it was unsafe. The client left a bad review saying we were too cautious. Where do you draw the line between giving a client what they want and following your professional judgment?

Man that's a tough spot to be in. I mean you have to stick to your training, right? We had someone push for extractions on really angry, active acne once and it was just a hard no. Maybe it's just me but a bad review hurts less than knowing you made someone's skin way worse. The license and the conscience have to come before the customer request sometimes, even if they get mad.

Honestly, that angry acne extraction story is exactly why we have rules.

That extraction story is the perfect example of a client wanting a bad idea. Like nina_knight99 said, a bad review is better than a lawsuit and worse skin. Some people just need to hear the hard no.
