Just hit 500 chemical peels in my first year and it's not what I expected

I kept a tally on a sheet in my treatment room, and the number hit me when I was ordering more Jessner solution. I thought it would mean I was a success, but honestly, it just showed me how many people are walking around with skin they hate. It made me question if we're really fixing problems or just selling a quick fix. Has anyone else felt this way after hitting a big service number?

Read what @maryh96 said about her friend and it hits the same note. When you see that number, do you feel like you're helping fix real skin issues, or just feeding a bigger problem where people feel bad about looking normal?

Her thousandth client made her quit? That's a scary number.

My friend who does lashes had a total breakdown after her thousandth client. She said she looked at her booking app and just saw a list of women who thought their natural faces weren't good enough. She almost quit. It's not about the service, it's about why people feel they need it. That number makes you see the pattern, not the success. It's a weird gut punch.
