Honestly, I was steaming faces for way too long

Tbh, a client in my chair last Thursday said her skin felt tight and raw after our session. Ngl, I checked my timer and saw I'd been steaming for a full 12 minutes, not the 8 I thought. Has anyone else had a client call them out on a basic step like that?

Oh man, I've totally zoned out and over-steamed before. My brain just goes on vacation sometimes. Felt so bad when the client looked like a steamed lobster.

Been there for sure. That moment when you snap back and realize the steam's been going way too long. Worst feeling. Their skin gets all red and you just want to rewind time. Happens to everyone when your mind wanders, but man does it sting.

Yikes, that's the worst. I've done that and had to basically apologize with free product. You just see that bright red glow under the towel and your stomach drops.
