Heard a client say chemical peels are cheating. That got me thinking about natural vs clinical.

I was at a skincare workshop in Austin last month and this older esthetician said peels are just a shortcut for lazy skin. She swore by only using enzymes and fruit acids from the kitchen. On the flip side, I've seen peels like the 30% glycolic from Perfect Derma clear up deep acne scars in 3 sessions. Which side do you lean on for long term results, natural methods or clinical peels?

Lazy skin? That's a new one. I didn't know skin could have a work ethic. So if I put an avocado on my face, my skin is clocking in overtime? Please. I've seen people rubbing mashed bananas on their faces for months with zero change. Then they try one 20% TCA peel and suddenly they're mad it worked faster than their weekend farmers market face mask. It's like saying a chainsaw is cheating compared to chewing through a tree.
