Had to pick between a 10am facial for a bride or a 2pm for a guy with a full beard. Guess which one I took?
The bride's MOH booked her for a 'glow up' session the morning of the wedding. The beard guy wanted a 'deep clean' before his date. I only had one open slot. Took the beard. BIG MISTAKE. Spent 45 minutes just trying to get my steamer to penetrate. He left looking like a wet cat. The bride's party called 3 other places and found someone. I lost a potential wedding party package. Anyone ever had a client's hair type totally throw off your service timing?

Honestly, thick beards are a whole different level of maintenance. Tbh I've seen some that could hide a small animal. It's a full time job keeping that from getting wild. No judgment though, just facts.
