Had a client in my chair in Portland tell me she only washes her face with bottled water, and honestly, I think it's a total waste.

Seriously? What does she think the tap water is doing to her skin that's so bad? Portland's water is pretty good from what I've heard. That just seems like an expensive hassle for no real reason.

@cameroncarr nailed it with the hard water thing. Portland's water is soft compared to some places, but it still has minerals that build up. I had the same issue with tight, flaky skin. Switched to a cheap shower filter from Amazon, cost me like $30. Cleared up in a week.
