Had a client in LA last week who had been using sandpaper on her own face for exfoliation
She said her skin felt 'smooth' but when I looked under the magnifying lamp she had microtears and inflammation everywhere, and now I always ask new clients if they've ever used anything they'd find at Home Depot on their skin before I start a treatment.

Honestly, what did she say when you asked her why she thought sandpaper was a good idea for her face? I gotta hear that thought process.

I mean sandpaper exfoliation sounds intense but maybe her skin was feeling smooth lol
