Appreciation post: LED therapy masks vs handheld wands for acne
I used a handheld LED wand for like 6 months on and off for my breakouts. It worked ok but I had to stand there holding it for 15 minutes each time. Then I bought a full face mask from Omnilux back in April, and the difference is crazy. The mask covers everything at once so I can just lay on my couch while it runs. My cystic acne on my chin cleared up way faster too. Anyone else switched from a wand to a mask and saw better results?

Another thing people don't talk about is how the mask keeps your hands free. When I used a wand, I'd get lazy and skip days because I was too tired to hold it up. The mask lets you fold laundry, read a book, or just rest your eyes while it works. Makes a big difference for consistency, which is what really clears acne.

Rest your eyes" is huge, I had a buddy who gave up on red light entirely because he hated sitting still with a wand for 20 minutes. He tried a mask after I mentioned it, and @adam_hernandez nailed it, turns out he could just lay on the couch and listen to a podcast instead of fighting the boredom. Took him a few months but his breakouts calmed down way more than before, mostly because he actually stuck with it.
