A client told me my sunscreen technique was ruining her makeup and honestly she was right
She said I was pressing it in too hard and pilling up her foundation, so now I pat it on super gently with a damp sponge and let it sit for 2 minutes before anything else. Has anyone else had a client call you out on something that actually made you better?

Patting it gently instead of pressing changed everything for me too.

Honestly yeah, "pressing it in too hard" is such a simple thing but it makes a huge difference. That two minute wait is a game changer too.

Watched a buddy kill a batch of carts last week doing the exact opposite. Pressing too light and pulling early. Just milky distillate everywhere.
Found out the hard way that different oils need different press times too. Thicker stuff needs almost 5 minutes before you even touch the button.
That two minute rule is just a baseline. Check your own setup with a cheap cart first before you waste good oil.
