Rant: People keep messing up door lock bypass testing

Was on a call in a 12-story office building downtown last Tuesday and the third guy this month had flipped the bypass switch too fast. The door locks cycle at a specific delay man, you gotta wait a full 8 seconds for the signal to settle. I see guys just flipping it and walking away thinking it's fine but then the car skips floors. Has anyone else noticed this getting worse on the newer MRL controllers?

13th floor at the old Westside Medical Arts building had a similar issue back in '21 with their Schindler 330a. Some maintenance guy kept flipping the bypass toggle for the door lock circuit way too fast and it caused the car to randomly stop at floors with the doors half open. Ngl, I had to show him three times that you gotta hold it at the middle position for the full eight count before you flip it to bypass mode. Honestly, it's like these newer techs treat every controller like it's a light switch instead of a precision timer system.

Wait the full 8 seconds or you'll waste an hour retesting everything.
