Found a 1980s service manual at a thrift shop in Dayton last week

It was for the old Otis elevators we used to have in our building. Crazy to see how much simpler the wiring diagrams were back then compared to the modern PLC stuff we deal with now. Has anyone else found old manuals that made you laugh at how basic things used to be?

@craig.tessa What's the weirdest thing you've found in one of those old time capsules? I'm always curious about the stuff people thought was important enough to save. A buddy of mine found a cassette tape and a stack of baseball cards from the 80s in his grandparents' attic last year. The tape was warped but the cards were in mint condition. Makes you wonder what we'd put in one today that would confuse people 30 years from now.
