Fixed that annoying vibration in the downtown high-rise elevator
People were complaining about a wobble every time the car reached a floor. I traced it to a worn sheave bearing that was hard to spot. Replaced it and now the ride is steady. Ever had a bearing go bad without making noise?

Yeah, a bearing going bad without noise is how my car's wheel bearing announced itself with a fireworks show.
