Can we talk about capacitor glue going conductive on old PSUs?

Saw a video from a repair guy last week where he scraped that old glue off a PSU and it had turned dark and crusty. He said once it gets old it can start conducting and short stuff out. Have you seen that happen on any of your old builds?

Huh, it's like that old saying about letting things rot if you don't clean 'em out, same with lint traps.
