PSA: My call on a dodgy panel upgrade felt right in the end

Honestly, I had a client who wanted a quick panel upgrade but asked me to skip the full inspection to save cash. Tbh, it put me in a tough spot because the old wiring was a fire risk. Ngl, I almost gave in, but I explained why every step matters for safety. I showed them photos of what could go wrong with shortcuts. In the end, they agreed to do it right, and the job turned out solid. Feels good to know I kept things safe without losing the work. Just a reminder that sticking to your guns on code can actually help your rep.

Showing pics of old wiring risks worked for me too, @jason544 knows how bad hidden problems can get.

A lot, actually, like finding out about a cracked foundation after you move in.
