Can we talk about those new push-in wire connectors?
I saw them at the supply house in Omaha about six months ago and thought they were just a gimmick. A guy on a commercial job convinced me to try them on a small lighting circuit, and honestly they held up better than I expected. The real test came when we had to pull a wire back out, and it released clean without any damage. Has anyone else put these through their paces on bigger loads?

Honestly, @verafoster, I'd be nervous trusting them on anything bigger than a lighting circuit. Seen too many new products fail after a year of real heat cycles.

Kiln-dried wire insulation can get brittle way faster than people think. Seen it happen twice on 15A runs with those budget "new standard" cables.

How many amps did you run through them? I used them on a 20-amp kitchen branch circuit and they were solid.
