Whoever designed the self-checkout at my local Shaw's should be banned from making anything ever again

I stopped at the Shaw's in Nashua last night to grab like 4 things (milk, eggs, bread, and a bag of chips), and the self-checkout was an absolute nightmare. The bagging area kept yelling at me because my chips were apparently "unexpected item" even though I literally placed them there gently. Then the touchscreen was so laggy I had to tap "skip bagging" like 8 times before it registered. And don't get me started on the scale - it makes you weigh produce but the little picture search is so slow that I stood there for a full minute trying to find Roma tomatoes. I swear the employees looked just as annoyed as me when they had to keep coming over to clear the error. Has anyone else had a self-checkout that felt like it was actively working against you?

My buddy had to unload and reload his stuff three times before it let him pay.

Sounds like the website just wanted to make sure he really wanted those items, lol. That's dedication right there.
