Finally cracked 100 points at my local Giant's fuel rewards program

I've been shopping at the same Giant in Arlington for like 3 years now and never paid attention to those fuel points. Yesterday I checked my receipt and I had 112 points saved up. That's like 11 cents off per gallon which doesn't sound like much until you fill up a 20 gallon truck bed. I used it this morning and saved $2.20 on gas which honestly felt like a win. Has anyone else ever let those rewards stack up without noticing and then felt super smart when you finally used them?

11 cents off per gallon" actually, it's about 10 cents cause 100 points = 10 cents off.

My buddy Dave did this exact same thing at a Safeway in Falls Church. He had like 300 points saved up and didn't even know it until the cashier mentioned it. He used them all at once and got like 30 cents off a gallon which saved him like 7 bucks on his truck's gas tank. He was bragging about it for a whole week like he'd hacked the system or something. It's funny how something that simple can make your day feel like a small victory.
