Changed my mind about reusable bags after a soggy mess at Kroger

I was dead set against reusable bags until last month when a jug of milk busted through a plastic bag right in my trunk. Now I grab those 99 cent bags every time and actually keep them in my back seat instead of the carousel.

Wow, that milk trunk tsunami sounds rough. Plastic bags are basically useless for anything heavy or wet. Did you switch to the thick reusable ones or those flimsy woven totes? I got the fabric kinda nylon bag and it still leaked on me with a bag of ice once. Wondering if you found a brand that actually holds up or just accept the risk.

You guys ever seen a watermelon avalanche? My buddy had one skip out of a plastic bag at the Aldi parking lot and roll through three rows of cars before hitting a curb. He bought a stack of those cheap reusable bags the next day and now treats his trunk like a Tetris game.

Man, I figured the soggy bag was just my trucker life trying to add some floor soup to the cab collection. Now I triple bag anything wet and still pray.
