Caught a weird vibration on the cutter head near Mobile, turned out to be a simple fix.
Thought it was a bearing going out, but a quick check of the suction line showed a partial blockage from a chunk of timber. Anyone else had a phantom vibration that was something dumb like that?

Had a similar wobble last month from a loose hydraulic hose clamp.

Ah, the classic loose clamp surprise... just a tiny piece of metal deciding to take the day off, and suddenly your whole machine's doing the shaky dance. Makes you wonder what else is barely hanging on in there. Bet that was a fun little mystery to track down.

Found my wobble was actually a worn bushing, not a clamp. Sometimes the obvious fix isn't the right one. Had to dig a little deeper.
