TIL that revision clouds in AutoCAD actually slow down team collaboration instead of helping it
I read a study from a tech blog called CAD Manager that said 60% of drafters waste an extra 30 minutes per day chasing revision cloud updates, which totally goes against what every senior drafter at my firm has been telling me for years, so has anyone else noticed their team getting slower since they started using them?

Ditch the revision clouds entirely for team spaces and watch what happens. Honestly, at my old firm we switched to a shared digital markup board on a tablet during meetings, and it cut our coordination headaches in half. The problem with clouds is they make everyone just dump their changes without talking to each other first, so you end up with twenty overlapping clouds that all mean different things. Ngl, the real time killer isn't the clouds themselves, it's people not talking face to face about what needs to change before they start marking it up. Try doing all revision clouds as a live group session instead of letting everyone work alone, it'll save way more than those 30 minutes a day.

@evan_jenkins guilty of being one of those cloud dumpers myself.
