Switched from manual to digital drafting for a project and it was night and day

I had this small renovation project for a friend's basement last month. I started sketching it out by hand like I always do, but the measurements kept getting messed up when I tried to scale things. After two days of frustration, I fired up my free CAD program and finished the whole layout in like 3 hours. The accuracy was so much better too. Has anyone else made the switch and felt it was worth the learning curve?

My hand drafting never gave me measurement errors. Operator error maybe?

Oh man, tell me about it. My hand drafting errors usually came from me forgetting to account for the thickness of my pencil line. Classic operator error.
