Still sketch by hand before opening CAD, fight me on it

Been drafting 12 years now and I still rough out floor plans on graph paper first before touching AutoCAD. Changed my process back in 2017 after a commercial project in Columbus where I missed a wall offset because I jumped straight into the software. Took me 3 extra revisions to fix what a 10 minute sketch would have caught. Any other old school guys still doing this or am I just wasting time?

Amen! Sketching first saves time every single time.

Last time I skipped the sketch, I spent twice as long fixing things I could've caught upfront. Really feel that one.
