Drafting by hand for 12 years before I touched a CAD program
I spent over a decade with pencils and vellum before my boss made me learn AutoCAD back in 2015. Took me about three weeks to admit the undo button alone was worth the switch. Anyone else hold out way too long before going digital?

Does the undo button really make up for losing that muscle memory, or is it more like you just got used to a different way of thinking?

Hold your horses, the undo button doesn't teach you how to visualize a 3D object in your head like pencil work does. Were you actually faster or just more comfortable after switching?
