Why I finally ditched pegboard for a french cleat system
I spent 3 weekends last year fighting with cheap pegboard hooks that kept falling off every time I grabbed a wrench in my garage in Akron. Switched to a basic french cleat setup made from scrap 3/4 plywood, cost me maybe $12 total for the whole wall. Has anyone else made the swap and found it actually stays put better?
