Bought a cheap level for my workbench and spent 4 hours fixing the sag
I figured a $8 level from the hardware store was fine, but after shimming my bench top three times it still wobbled because the level itself was off by a 16th over 4 feet. Has anyone else had a cheap tool waste way more time than it saved?

Did you see that test someone did where they dropped a cheap level from waist height and it was junk after that? I read a forum post where a guy checked 10 budget levels at the store and only 2 were actually true out of the box. Honestly, spending a few extra bucks on a name brand level usually saves you from chasing ghosts like that.
