Tried cleaning my laptop fan with a toothpick and a vacuum
It actually worked for a week, but then the fan started making a grinding noise because I must have nudged the bearing. Anyone know a safe way to clean a fan without taking the whole thing apart?

Classic move. My vacuum once ate a keycap. Good times.

Honestly that grinding noise might just be a piece of dust stuck in there. Fans are pretty tough. Maybe try using some compressed air from a can first before you assume the worst. It's probably not as bad as it sounds.
