My uncle's 'just use canned air' trick fixed my laptop fan for free
He told me to stop buying new fans and just blast the dust out with compressed air every 6 months, and after 3 tries I finally cleared the clog. Anyone else got a family member who swears by a super simple fix that actually works?

Canned air is honestly underrated but you gotta be careful with the angle, too much pressure and you'll knock a blade loose. @clairer79 that's cool your guy saved some cash but I bet he never had to replace a fan bearing because he blasted the dust deeper INTO the motor.
