Hit 55 phone screen replacements in one year and that number scared me

I just counted my screen repairs for this year and it was 55. That's more than one a week. Makes me wonder how many of those were from people not using a decent case or glass protector. Anybody else keep track of their repair numbers?

Yeah same here, I hit 60 last year and it's kind of ridiculous.

You must be younger than me then. I turned 60 back in 2019, which puts me at 66 this year. The math gets fuzzy once you stop caring about birthdays.

Oh wow, that's a lot of cracked screens. I gotta push back a little though. I've been doing this work for over a decade and I've never hit 55 in a year. My record is maybe 35 back in 2018. @jesse_craig26 I think part of it is location and clientele. If you're in a college town or a place where people are constantly dropping phones on concrete, those numbers get wild. I see way more shattered screens from people who think a $3 clear case from Amazon is going to save them than from folks who actually use a good case and a glass protector. Maybe I'm wrong, but 55 seems like a lot of customers who just want a cheap fix without being careful.
