Hit 500 successful screen repairs last week without a single cracked replacement...

I've been fixing phones on the side for about 18 months now, and last week I finished my 500th screen swap. I keep a simple tally in a notebook, so when I hit it I just sat there counting back through all the shattered Galaxy S22s and cracked iPhone 15s I've done. The milestone hit me because I broke my own phone screen twice before I got good at this... and now I'm at a place where I almost never mess up the install. Has anyone else counted their repair numbers and felt surprised by how far you've come?

Ha, I used to roll my eyes at people who kept detailed tallies of stuff like this. But honestly? 500 with zero mess ups is impressive. Makes me want to start counting my own wins just to see where I'm at.

Oh man, I started doing something similar without even meaning to. I just wanted to see if I could go a whole week without forgetting my keys or my phone somewhere, and it turned into a whole thing where I write down little wins on sticky notes. Now I've got this messy pile of them on my desk but it's kind of satisfying to look at. Counting your wins doesn't have to be super serious, you can just pick one small thing you want to track and see how it goes. It's almost like a game with yourself, and that 500 number makes me want to try harder too.
