Guy at the repair shop in Dayton told me to stop cleaning my phone's charging port with a paperclip
So I was in Dayton last month getting a screen fixed and I mentioned my phone kept losing charge unless I held the cable just right. The tech pulled a ball of gray lint out with a wooden toothpick and said metal tools scratch the pins down in there, which costs way more to fix than the lint does. I went home, killed the phone, and dug out a surprising amount of fuzz from my own port with a toothpick and a shot of canned air. Been charging fine for 3 weeks now. What do you all use for this, or am I the last guy still stuffing paperclips in his phone?
