Guy at Best Buy told me to blow dust out of my PS4 with a leaf blower - actually worked

I was skeptical but after 3 years of overheating crashes I tried it on low speed and it ran quiet for months after. Has anyone else got a weird tip from a store employee that actually panned out?

Oh man, that reminds me... my buddy Mike had a similar thing with his Xbox One. He kept getting that "dirty disc" error even on brand new games. Some kid at GameStop told him to put a tiny drop of dish soap on a microfiber cloth and wipe the laser lens gently. We all made fun of him for it but his console worked perfectly for like a year after that. Weirdest fix I've ever seen actually work...

Wait you're serious? My buddy tried toothpaste on his PS4 once and it actually read discs again.
