That cheap adhesive from Dollar Tree ruined my desk top in 6 days
Honestly, last week I slapped on a 2 dollar roll of that double sided tape from Dollar Tree to hold my cable raceway down. By Tuesday the whole thing peeled off, taking a chunk of the laminate finish with it, right near the front edge in Portland. The heat from my PC tower made the glue go soft and it just slid around. That sticky residue took me 3 hours and a can of Goo Gone to scrub off, and now the bare MDF is showing. Anyone else had a cheap adhesive fail on a particle board desk, or is there a tape that actually holds up under a warm case?
